Daytime Tempo is the quieter side of Tempo powered by Butterfunk: a Houston restaurant room designed to be useful before the dinner rush and late-night energy arrive.

The goal is to open the room from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM for people who need Wi-Fi, a place to work, a place to study, or a comfortable stop between everything else on the calendar.

A restaurant that works during the day.

Most restaurants are built around service windows. Most coffee shops are built around purchase pressure. Tempo is aiming for something more flexible: free Wi-Fi, self-serve kiosk access, seating, and food when you want it.

That means a student can study. A remote worker can answer calls. A creative can write. Someone between jobs, classes, errands, or meetings can sit without feeling like they are in the way.

Why the kiosk matters.

The self-serve kiosk keeps daytime ordering simple. Guests can use the space first, then order food or drinks when they are ready. It also lets the room stay accessible without needing the same staffing rhythm as dinner service.

Where to find it.

Tempo is located at 6213 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77057. The daytime idea is part of the larger Tempo concept: kitchen open, music on, Wi-Fi ready.
